Mitochondrial disease - Is cure possible?

Mitochondria work - To generate energy by burning oxygen and food so that cells can work properly.

At some stage, often due to genetic problem that can be inherited( means can pass from parents to children) , Mitochondria doesn't work properly that results to no or low energy formation. Mitochondrial disease makes cells weak resulting to poor growth, low memory, respiratory problems, dementia, muscle weakness, Autism and many other adverse effects as cells exist in every part of our body.

There is no perfect cure for Mitochondrial disease but physiotherapy, physical exercise and medication can help to some extent.
